Dr. Mark Peters
Dr. Mark Peters has served as medical director for Select Specialty Hospital Nashville – West since 2021.
He completed his Adult Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowships at Vanderbilt University in 1994. Finally, He performed his Pediatric Pulmonary Fellowship at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in 1966. He holds board certifications in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care, and Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine. Of special interest to Dr. Peters in asthma and exercise associated respiratory conditions.
He earned his undergraduate degree in mathematics in 1983 and his medical degree in 1987 at Ohio State University in Columbus. He completed his internship in 1988 and residence in internal medicine and pediatrics in 1991 at the Ohio State University Hospital and Columbus Children’s Hospital.
