David Muggli, Chief Executive Officer

David Muggli David D. Muggli, R.N., NEA-BC, FACHE, has been the CEO of Select Specialty Hospital – Cincinnati North since 2017. In this role, he oversees strategic direction, operations, business development and the patient care experience.

Previously, he served as assistant vice president of cardiovascular and critical care services at HCA’s Medical City North Hills Hospital in Dallas/Fort Worth. Prior to that, David was associate chief nursing officer at HCA’s Johnston-Willis Hospital in Richmond, Virginia.

He began his career in Denver, Colorado as a bedside nurse specializing in cardiovascular and neurological/trauma intensive care.

He is an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and treasurer for the greater Ohio chapter.
