Hospital Access

Ample parking is provided in the visitor parking areas surrounding Bethesda North Hospital.

Shuttle buses run continuously throughout the parking lot from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday. Valet parking also is available at no charge from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.

To access our hospital from visitor parking, enter Bethesda North Hospital's main entrance and proceed through the lobby to the main elevators. Take the elevator to the ground floor and look for the Select Specialty Hospital signs right behind the elevators.

General visiting hours are 8 a.m. - 9 p.m. Special arrangements outside these times may be made in consultation with your physician and nurse.

About our hospital

Select Specialty Hospital – Cincinnati North is a 41-bed critical illness recovery hospital located in Bethesda North Hospital. We specialize in helping critically ill patients breathe, speak, eat, walk and think as independently as possible. 

Dining options

Creekside Café is located on the ground floor, down the hall from Select Specialty Hospital – Cincinnati North and is open:  

Monday through Friday

Breakfast: 6:30 - 10 a.m.

Lunch: 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Deli food: 2 - 4:30 p.m.

Dinner: 4:30 - 6:30 p.m.

Grilled food and salad bar: 6:30 - 8 p.m.

Saturday and Sunday

Lunch: 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Dinner: 4:30 - 6:30 p.m.

Grilled Food and Salad Bar: 6:30 - 8 p.m.

North Corner Café, located in the main lobby, is open:

Monday through Friday: 6:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Saturday: 8 a.m.-noon

Sunday: closed

There are a number of hotels and motels near our hospital (some of which may offer special rates to our guests), along with a wide range of restaurants and dining options.

Pricing transparency

Effective January 1, 2021, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services is requiring hospitals to make standard charges public. CMS issued a final rule on November 15, 2019 that provides the details related to the required information. Hospitals are expected to update this information at least annually or more often as appropriate, to reflect current charges. Note the standard charges provided may not accurately reflect what any given individual is likely to pay for a particular service, as this will be dependent upon your insurance coverage and the terms of the insurance plan. You should check with your insurance coverage to determine if you will have, any out of pocket costs. Note, some charges may be subject to change during the year without notice and the timing of updates may affect the posted charges on this site.

Note that other healthcare providers who may separately bill the patient may provide some services in our hospital and that provider may or may not participate with the same health insurers or health maintenance organizations as our hospital.
