Market Director of Business Development

Melissa Nagy

Melissa Nagy is the market director of business development for Select Specialty Hospital - Hampton Roads and Riverside Rehabilitation Hospital. In this role since 2025, Melissa is responsible for overseeing marketing and admissions for both hospitals. She leads and supports her team in the field, focusing on relationship-building and nurturing professional relationships with physicians, discharge planners and other clinicians in the area hospitals.

Before taking this role, Melissa worked as a clinical liaison for three years. Prior to Select, she worked as a respiratory therapist for 16 years in various units, including: ICU, ER, PACU, med-surg, cardiac and pulmonary rehab, outpatient services and NICU/pediatrics.

Melissa attained her associate's degree in applied science from Tidewater Community College.
