Steve Plumlee, Chief Executive Officer

Steve Plumlee serves as the Market CEO of Select Specialty Hospitals – North Knoxville and Knoxville. In this role, he oversees daily operations at North Knoxville and provides strategic business and marketing direction for the Knoxville area.

Steve has been with Select since 2002, and recently added training new CEOs and COOs at the North Knoxville location to his duties.

Previously, Steve held positions as director of pharmacy, vice president of clinical services and vice president of ortho-neuro-rehab services at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, a 575-bed private, not-for-profit hospital in the Covenant Health System. He also served as administrator of the Patricia Neal Rehabilitation Center, a 72-bed inpatient rehabilitation center.

Steve holds a Doctor of Pharmacy, Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Tennessee.
