Dr. Edward Hamaty, Medical Director

Dr. Hamaty is the medical director of Select Specialty Hospital - Willingboro and also serves as a regional medical director. In his roles, he helps develop policies, procedures and best practices that directly improve the outcomes of patients treated within Select Specialty Hospitals. Prior to joining Select Medical, Dr. Hamaty served as the medical director at Atlanticare Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Hamaty graduated as valedictorian of his medical school class at A.T. Still University of Health Sciences. He is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine and critical care medicine.   

With a robust commitment to the medical community, Dr. Hamaty contributes significantly to medical literature through numerous publications, frequently lectures at state and local levels and has been honored multiple times for his commitment to teaching medical residents.
