Chief Nursing Officer

Rachel Powell, BSN, RN

Rachel Powell is the chief nursing officer at Select Specialty Hospital – Belhaven. In this role since 2025, Rachel oversees patient safety, daily nursing operations and hospital best practices.

Rachel has been with Select Specialty Hospital – Belhaven since graduating from nursing school. She began her career as a student nurse technician, before completing her boards.

Working her way from the new graduate nursing program to her current position as chief nursing officer, Rachel earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Baptist Health Sciences University.
