Eric Christensen, Chief Executive Officer

Eric Christensen, MBA, is the chief executive officer of Select Specialty Hospital – Wichita. Promoted to the role in 2020, he oversees hospital operations, quality and employee engagement initiatives.

Eric joined Select Medical in 2019 as part of its chief operating officer program, a one-year mentored management training opportunity.

Previously, he served two years as Sumner Regional Medical Center’s chief financial officer. He also worked as chief financial and operating officer for Kingman Community Hospital. Before that, Eric spent 25 years working for Fortune 50 companies in hospital sales and sales management.

He has a Master of Business Administration from Friends University and bachelor’s degree from Wichita State University.
