Dr. Anil Gogineni, Medical Director

Dr. Anil Gogineni is the medical director of Select Specialty Hospital – The Villages. In this role, Dr. Gogineni oversees patient care, safety and quality outcomes and works with staff to develop treatment plans.

He is board-certified in critical care, internal, pulmonary and sleep medicine. In addition to his duties at Select Specialty Hospital, Dr. Gogineni maintains a private practice and rounds at area acute care facilities.

He earned a medical degree from the New York Medical College, Westchester Medical Center and bachelor’s degree with high honors in biochemistry, anatomy and pharmacology at Rangaraya Medical College, India.

Dr. Gogineni is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, American Academy of Sleep Physicians and Marion County Medical Society.
