Dr. Ramses Vega, Medical Director
Dr. Ramses Vega is the medical director of Select Specialty Hospital – Miami. In this role since 2005, he oversees weekly team rounds and helps to formulate and implement policies, procedures and clinical protocols.
Additionally, Dr. Vega operates his own private internal medicine practice, sees patients and consults at several medical facilities, rehabilitation centers and nursing homes throughout Miami.
Dr. Vega conducted undergraduate studies at Florida International University and St. Thomas University. He received a medical degree from San Juan Bautista Medical School in Puerto Rico. He completed an internal medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Michigan.
