Interim Chief Executive Officer
Amy Metz
Amy Metz is the interim chief executive officer of Select Specialty Hospital - Birmingham. In this role, she oversees strategic direction, operations, business development and the patient care experience.
Amy has also served as interim CEO of Inova Specialty Hospital and Regency Hospital - Florence. Prior to serving as interim CEO, Amy spent three years as Florence’s chief nursing officer. Previously, she administered a 238-bed short-term acute care hospital.
A registered nurse, Amy holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from West Virginia’s Wheeling Jesuit University. She is also a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
