Chief Executive Officer

Todd Lewis, MSHA, MBA, AEMT, FACHE

Todd Lewis is the chief executive officer for Select Specialty Hospital-West Tennessee. In this role since 2025, Todd is responsible for strategic direction, operations and business development while ensuring exceptional patient and employee experiences.

Prior to joining Select Specialty Hospital-West Tennessee, Todd served as an executive director at West Tennessee Healthcare. He led enterprise-wide innovation and performance improvement strategy for a public, not-for-profit health system encompassing eight acute care hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, cancer center and multispecialty physician medical group.

A U.S. Navy veteran, Todd attained the rank of captain. He held numerous executive leadership positions in the Military Health System, most notably as the deputy chief of staff to the assistant secretary of defense and as the chief administrative officer for Portsmouth Naval Medical Center, a Level 2 trauma center and the Navy’s premier academic medical center.

Todd earned his master’s degrees in business administration and health administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Tennessee at Martin.
