Chief Nursing Officer

Julie English

Julie English is chief nursing officer for Select Specialty Hospital – Harrisburg. In this role since 2025, she provides strategic and operational leadership to the nursing and patient care support team. Committed to a culture of clinical excellence, collaboration and compassion, she partners closely with respiratory care and rehabilitation services to ensure safe, high-quality care and optimal patient outcomes.

Before becoming chief nursing officer, Julie served as a critical care clinical nurse specialist, nurse educator and nursing director. She previously worked at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System, Johns Hopkins Hospital and University of Maryland Medical Center.

Julie earned a Master of Science in Nursing from the Medical College of Virginia. She is board certified as a nurse executive, advanced, through the National League for Nursing.
