Pulmonary Medical Director

Jacqueline Poole, MD

Jacqueline Poole, MD, is the medical director for pulmonary and critical care at Select Specialty Hospital – Omaha. In this role since 2023, Dr. Poole assists with formulating and implementing clinical policies and protocols, leads the pulmonary quality assurance programs and serves as a primary liaison among the hospital’s medical staff members.

In addition to her role at Select Specialty Hospital, Dr. Poole is the associate program director for the Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine Fellowship Program at Creighton University School of Medicine and has been an assistant professor with Creighton University since 2021.

Dr. Poole completed her Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship at Creighton University School of Medicine. Prior to her fellowship, she worked as a hospitalist after graduating from her internal medicine training in St. Louis
