Marcus Stewart

Marcus Stewart is the chief nursing officer for Select Specialty Hospital - Jackson. In this role since 2019, Marcus is responsible for organizing and administering the Department of Clinical Services at the hospital and implementing standards of care, policies, programs and procedures established by Select Medical. Responsibilities of the CNO include ensuring timely, accurate and complete documentation, ensuring all clinical regulatory requirements are being met and responsibility for employee engagement, recruitment, and retention.

Prior to this role, Marcus served as a nurse manager, house supervisor, charge nurse, procedure nurse and staff nurse. Before Select Medical, he worked as an LPN at Baptist Medical Center.

Marcus attained his bachelors in nursing from the University of Kentucky.
