Shital Tipnis, Chief Executive Officer

Shital Tipnis, MHS, MBA, is the chief executive officer of Select Specialty Hospital – Milwaukee St. Francis.  In this role since 2021, she oversees hospital operations, teams with the chief nursing officer on core clinical programs and ensures clinical quality, patient and employees satisfaction.

Shital was promoted to the position following a one-year intensive as part of Select Medical’s chief operating officer, which pairs promising management candidates with seasoned executives.

Previously, she worked for Select Specialty Hospital - Quad Cities as the senior rehabilitation therapy manager. During that time, she set up the Select Specialty Hospital - Des Moines rehabilitation department and worked in a variety of corporate-level roles. In all, she has worked for more than a decade in various capacities with Select Medical.

Earlier, Shital was a physical therapist in a variety of health care settings.
Shital has a Master of Health Science (PT) from the University of Indianapolis and Master of Business Administration from the University of Iowa.
