Dr. Victor Clark, Medical Director

Dr. Victor Clark is the medical director of Select Specialty Hospital – Hampton Roads. In this role, he oversees clinical strategies, quality metrics and relationships between the facility and referring hospitals.

During his tenure, Dr. Clark assisted in the transition to a hospital-within-a-hospital model, optimized physician staffing and enhanced organizational strategy and relationships.

Previously, he worked as a hospitalist physician with Sentara Medical Group, Riverside Medical Group and Eastern Virginia Medical School, where he served as an associate professor for EVMS residents and nurse practitioner clinical rotations.

Dr. Clark is board-certified in internal medicine. He completed his undergraduate degree in chemistry pre-med with a minor in mathematics and physics at Norfolk State University. He participated in atmospheric chemistry research at NASA Langley and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and microbiology research at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Clark obtained a master’s in reproductive physiology and endocrinology at Eastern Virginia Medical School, where he also earned his medical degree and completed residency training.
