The main parking lot is located in front of the hospital, accessed from Sixth Street. The south and emergency room lots are behind the hospital. Use Fourth and Sixth Streets.
All parking is free.
The hospital has two main entry points.
From the main entrance
Turn right at the information desk. Continue straight past the elevators to the end of the hall. Turn right and follow the hall almost to the end. Turn left and go through the double doors. You will have arrived on Select Specialty Hospital – Longview’s first floor (Rooms 1171-1185).
From the emergency or south parking lots
Enter through the emergency room on the hospital’s ground floor. Turn left and follow the hall toward the elevators. Pass the elevators. Proceed to the end of the short hallway, turn right and then a quick left. Continue on through the double doors. You will have arrived on Select Specialty Hospital – Longview’s ground floor (Rooms 1071-1087).
The hospital does not have set visiting hours. For patient well-being and adequate rest, we recommend departing by 9 p.m.
Those remaining in the hospital past 9 p.m. must register with security at the emergency room entrance.

Select Specialty Hospital – Longview is a 32-bed, critical illness recovery hospital located on the ground and first floors of Good Shepherd Medical Center. We specialize in helping critically ill patients breathe, speak, eat, walk and think as independently as possible.

Located on the first floor, across from the surgical waiting area.
Cafe: 6:30 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Starbucks: 6:30 a.m. - 1 a.m.
Good Shepherd Cafe
Located on the second floor.
Breakfast: 6:30 - 10 a.m.
Lunch: 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Dinner: 5 p.m. - 1 a.m.
Local hotels and restaurants
There are a number of hotels and motels near our hospital (some of which may offer special rates to our guests), along with a wide range of restaurants and dining options.
Effective January 1, 2021, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services is requiring hospitals to make standard charges public. CMS issued a final rule on November 15, 2019 that provides the details related to the required information. Hospitals are expected to update this information at least annually or more often as appropriate, to reflect current charges. Note the standard charges provided may not accurately reflect what any given individual is likely to pay for a particular service, as this will be dependent upon your insurance coverage and the terms of the insurance plan. You should check with your insurance coverage to determine if you will have, any out of pocket costs. Note, some charges may be subject to change during the year without notice and the timing of updates may affect the posted charges on this site.
Note that other healthcare providers who may separately bill the patient may provide some services in our hospital and that provider may or may not participate with the same health insurers or health maintenance organizations as our hospital.
