Marcia Taylor, Chief Executive Officer

Marcia Taylor, FACHE, MBA, BSOM, CRRN, is CEO of Select Specialty Hospital – Memphis.  In this role since 2016, she oversees strategic direction and operations, business development and patient care experiences.

Marcia has served the Memphis health care community for more than 30 years in post- and short-term acute settings.  Prior to joining Select Specialty Hospital, she was a market chief executive officer for HealthSouth, a network of inpatient rehabilitation hospital, for four years. During that time, she served on a national diversity and inclusion committee, executing initiatives across its hospitals. Marcia also led a hospital renovation and expansion, as well as electronic medical record system implementations.

A registered nurse, Marcia earned dual Master of Business Administration degrees in management and health care administration from American Intercontinental University. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in organizational management from Victory University.
