Dr. Anastasia Bessas, Medical Director

Dr. Anastasia Bessas is the Medical Director of Select Specialty Hospital – Columbus Victorian Village. In this role, she oversees the daily clinical operations of the hospital medicine program and serves as liaison to hospital leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and collaboration on the development and implementation of quality and process improvement initiatives.

Dr. Bessas is board-certified in internal medicine. Dr. Bessas completed her undergraduate studies at Mount Union College in biochemistry. She received her medical degree from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, and her internal medicine residency at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, Ohio.

She is a member of the AOBIM and serves on Select’s National Medical Advisory Board.
