Dawne Chaney, MBA, RNC, BSN, is the chief executive officer of Select Specialty Hospital - Akron. In this role since 2011, she oversees strategic direction, operations, business development and the patient care experience.

Dawne was promoted to the post from chief nursing officer, joining Select in 2010.

Previously, she spent eight years at Summa Health System as the surgical cardiovascular intensive care unit clinical manager.

Dawne has a Master of Business Administration from Western Governors University and Bachelor of Science in nursing from Florida Atlantic University. She is also a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
