Shannon Canard, Chief Executive Officer

Shannon Canard, MHSA, BSN, R.N., is the chief executive officer of Select Specialty Hospital - Jackson. In this role, Shannon oversees strategic direction and operations, business development and patient care experiences.

This is his second stint as Jackson’s CEO, having also led Select Specialty Hospital – Belhaven and Regency Hospital of Jackson.

Previously, he was CEO of Landmark Hospital in Columbia, Missouri and clinical director of surgical services of University of Mississippi Medical Center.

Shannon earned a Master of Health Science Administration from Mississippi College, Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Mississippi and a diploma of nursing from Baptist School of Nursing in Memphis, Tennessee.
