Parking is free.

The Broad Avenue parking garage entrance/exit closes at dark each day and reopens at dawn. This entrance/exit is also closed on weekends.

There is an entrance/exit on 13th Street near the front of Memorial Hospital at Gulfport. Parking is available in various spots adjacent to the hospital. Avoid areas with posted signage indicating it is reserved for certain populations (cancer patients, doctor’s office appointments, etc.).

About Us

About our hospital

Select Specialty Hospital – Gulf Coast is a 36-bed critical illness recovery hospital located on Memorial Hospital at Gulfport’s third floor, C and D wings. We specialize in helping critically ill patients begin to breathe, speak, eat, walk and think as independently as possible. 

Dining Options

The Food Court 
Located on the first floor, near the garage entrance. Offers a variety of salads, sandwiches, wraps, pizzas, burgers and fries. Fresh fruits, drinks and snacks are also available.

Hours  
11 a.m.  – 11 p.m.

The Fresh Brew Café
Located inside the Food Court. Offers Starbucks coffee, fresh-baked muffins and pastries.

Hours
7:30 a.m. – 11 p.m.

Morrison's Cafeteria
On the first floor, opposite the hospital main entrance. Offers a selection of freshly cooked hot meals, sushi bar, soup bar, deserts, salads, fruits and drinks.

Hours
Breakfast: 6:30 – 10:30 a.m.
Lunch: 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
There are no dinner or weekend hours.

Vending machines and a microwave are located just outside of Morrison's Cafeteria and available around the clock.

There are a number of hotels and motels near our hospital (some of which may offer special rates to our guests), along with a wide range of restaurants and dining options.

Pricing transparency

Effective January 1, 2021, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services is requiring hospitals to make standard charges public. CMS issued a final rule on November 15, 2019 that provides the details related to the required information. Hospitals are expected to update this information at least annually or more often as appropriate, to reflect current charges. Note the standard charges provided may not accurately reflect what any given individual is likely to pay for a particular service, as this will be dependent upon your insurance coverage and the terms of the insurance plan. You should check with your insurance coverage to determine if you will have, any out of pocket costs. Note, some charges may be subject to change during the year without notice and the timing of updates may affect the posted charges on this site.

Note that other healthcare providers who may separately bill the patient may provide some services in our hospital and that provider may or may not participate with the same health insurers or health maintenance organizations as our hospital.
