Candace Moehringer, Chief Executive Officer

Candace Moehringer is the chief executive officer of Select Specialty Hospital - Northern Kentucky. In this role since 2022, she oversees strategic direction, operations, business development and the patient care experience.

Previously, Candace spent two years as CEO of Regency Hospital Toledo.

She came to Select Medical after three years at CVS/Omnicare as senior director of operations, creating its national nurse consultant department. She established directives, policies and a quality, compliance-based culture.

Additionally, Candace held business development positions for Lifecare Hospitals, a long-term acute care system, and Saber Healthcare Group, a multi-state nursing home company. She also worked as a Roche Pharmaceuticals senior medical representative after beginning her career as a registered nurse.

Candace holds a bachelor’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University, master’s from Ohio University and active nursing licenses in Indiana and Ohio.
