Nancy Hanna, Chief Nursing Officer

Nancy Hanna, MBA, BSN, R.N., FACHE, is the chief nursing officer of Select Specialty Hospital – Phoenix Downtown. In this role, she oversees the hospital’s clinical care, regulatory compliance, recruiting and retention.

A nurse for more than 36 years, Nancy has worked as an acute care nurse, specializing in critical care and hospital operations. She has held several executive positions, including CNO and vice president of clinical operations at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Illinois and Hawaii Pacific Health’s Wilcox Memorial Hospital in Kauai and Pali Momi Medical Center in Oahu.

Nancy earned a Master of Business Administration from Aurora University and Bachelor of Science in nursing from Aurora College.

She is a fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives and member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, National Association of Health Care Quality and a certified professional in health care quality.
