Angela Grinstead, Chief Nursing Officer

Angela Grinstead, R.N., BSN, is the chief nursing officer of Select Specialty Hospital – Fort Smith. In the role since 2018, she is responsible for organizing and administering the hospital’s department of clinical services and implementing care standards, policies, programs and procedures.

A nurse for 30 years, she has spent the past 18 with Select. Prior to her current post, Angela was house supervisor for ten years managing, guiding and mentoring the nursing staff, creating a healthy work atmosphere that promotes growth, and ensuring all company policies and procedures maintained. Before Select, Angela was a clinical supervisor at Sophia Meyer Medical for four years.

Angela earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Northeastern Oklahoma State College and an associate degree at Westark Community College.
