Our Admissions Coordinator will process your referrals to Select Specialty Hospital - Zanesville quickly and efficiently. An on-site evaluation of the patient will be completed by a Clinical Liaison within hours of the referral. The Clinical Liaison is your personal contact to Select Specialty Hospital. They will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the services we provide. Once an admission decision has been determined, the patient can often transfer the same day.

Medical Director

Armand A. Bermudez, MD, FCCP, serves as Medical Director of Select Specialty Hospital - Zanesville.

Dr. Bermudez came to Zanesville from Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH. There he was part of the Riverside Pulmonary Associates. Dr. Bermudez went to Wright State University Medical School, completed his internship at the University of Cincinnati, his residency at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, and Graduate Fellowships in Interventional Pulmonary Medicine, Sleep Medicine and Critical Care Medicine at the Lahey Clinic in Boston, MA. Dr. Bermudez is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine.

Nine other critical care intensivists and/or pulmonologists compose of the group that provides acute care to our patients at Select Specialty Hospital Zanesville. Along with Dr. Bermudez, these physicians are part of Genesis Medical Group.
