Occasionally, patients in the hospital have a need for a longer acute care stay due to their illness, multiple injuries, trauma, or medical complications. The unique medical needs of these types of patients require more intensive, focused hospital care for optimal recovery. Select Specialty Hospitals are designed specifically to meet the needs of these types of extended acute care patients.

At Select Specialty Hospital Tulsa-Midtown we specialize in the management of acutely ill patients requiring extended hospital stays. We have a 6 bed intensive care unit to treat patients requiring life supporting measures. We offer the new technology for monitoring and managing pulmonary patients. Our team of nurses, respiratory therapist, rehabilitation team and physician groups are dedicated to providing the most effective and compassionate care available.

Each patient is also assigned a case manager who will guide their case from admission through discharge. The case manager is available to answer questions, assist with insurance and to plan a safe, timely and appropriate discharge. Select Specialty Hospitals are Medicare certified and accredited by the Joint Commission. We participate with most major health insurers.

We are located on the 2nd & 3rd floor(s) of Hillcrest Hospital-Kaiser Rehab Facility, which allows us seamless transition of patients.

Our Admissions Coordinator will process your referrals to Select Specialty Hospital - Tulsa Midtown quickly and efficiently.
