Select Specialty Hospital - Quad Cities has five core areas we specialize in treating. Pulmonary care for patients with respiratory disorders, state-of-the-art wound care for surgical and complex non-healing wounds is provided by our Wound Care Physicians and Enterostomal Nurse. Our neurology and post-trauma services help patients who need intensive therapy and nursing care. Physicians specializing in infectious disease care for a wide variety of medical conditions and wounds. Many patients have medically complex health conditions that require intensive care and interventions including dialysis.

Select Specialty Hospital - Quad Cities is located in the former Davenport Medical Center/Trinity Medical Center-North building, on the corner of Marquette and West Kimberly Road in Davenport, Iowa. Millions of dollars in renovation costs resulted in the beautiful hospital we enjoy today.

Select Specialty Hospital - Quad Cities has 44 patient rooms and 6 Intensive Care rooms. Our cafeteria offers delicious menus for patients and visitors. Our Dietician oversees all meals for patients, staff, and visitors. All of our rooms are private and large to accommodate patients and their families. Each room has a flat screen TV and a view to the outside so each patient can enjoy the seasonal changes.

Select Specialty Hospital - Quad Cities also has an outdoor courtyard which is enclosed for privacy and quiet enjoyment. Some of our patients may receive therapies in the courtyard as weather permits.

The Select Specialty Hospital - Quad Cities' nursing staff is comprised of Nurses with vital critical care nursing experience and skill. Combined with compassion, our Nurses are among the best the Quad Cities has to offer. Certified Nurses Aides assist our patients with their daily
care needs.

At Select Specialty Hospital - Quad Cities we are "specially" proud of our twenty-four hour a day respiratory therapy staff who have achieved an optimal ventilator weaning success rate. Our Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapists work in harmony to assist patients in the recovery process.

Each patient is also assigned a case manager who will guide their case from admission through discharge. The case manager is available to answer questions, assist with insurance and to plan a safe, timely and appropriate discharge. Select Specialty Hospitals are Medicare certified and accredited by the Joint Commission. We participate with most major health insurers.

Our Admissions Coordinator will process your referrals to Select Specialty Hospital - Quad Cities quickly and efficiently. An on-site evaluation of the patient will be completed by a Clinical Liaison within hours of the referral. The Clinical Liaison is your personal contact to Select Specialty Hospital. They will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the services we provide. Once an admission decision has been determined, the patient can often transfer the same day.
