Select Specialty Hospital - Midland combines the specialized expertise of a large hospital with the personalized attention of a smaller setting.
Occasionally, patients in the hospital have a need for a longer acute care stay due to their illness, multiple injuries, trauma, or medical complications. The unique medical needs of these types of patients require more intensive, focused hospital care for optimal recovery. Select Specialty Hospitals are designed specifically to meet the needs of these types of extended acute care patients.
Select Specialty Hospital - Midland provides comprehensive, focused medical management for patients requiring diverse medical services and treatments. We combine state-of-the-art technological capabilities and multi-specialty professional personnel that promote quality patient care. In our small setting, we are able to offer our patients focused, personalized treatment.
Each patient is also assigned a case manager who will guide their case from admission through discharge. The case manager is available to answer questions, assist with insurance and to plan a safe, timely and appropriate discharge. Select Specialty Hospitals are Medicare certified and accredited by the Joint Commission. We participate with most major health insurers.
We are located on the 3rd floor(s) of Midland Memorial Hospital - West Campus, which allows us seamless transition of patients.
