Our specialized wound care team provides 24 hour, 7 day a week assistance in assuring difficult wounds are cared for. Always utilizing the highest standards and most current practices, resulting improved healing of even the most resistant cases.

Often, patients with multiple complications will require intensive cardiac services. You will find our cardiac service program to be unparalleled with continuous monitoring. Which features nurses all trained to provide critical medications, and interventions under the guidance of an experienced team of critical care doctors.

Our team of nurses, therapists, and dieticians are prepared and experienced to meet each patient's needs. All of these interventions allow patients to come to Select Specialty Hospital - Kansas City, and receive exceptional care with the wide variety of physicians necessary. All geared towards managing the complexity of each patient's illness and then be ready for their next level of care(whether it may be it home, rehab, or skilled care).

Each patient is also assigned a case manager who will guide their case from admission through discharge. The case manager is available to answer questions, assist with insurance and to plan a safe, timely and appropriate discharge.
