Our Admissions Coordinator will process your referrals to Select Specialty Hospital - Grosse Pointe quickly and efficiently. An on-site evaluation of the patient will be completed by a Clinical Liaison within hours of the referral. The Clinical Liaison is your personal contact to Select Specialty Hospital. They will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the services we provide. Once an admission decision has been determined, the patient can often transfer the same day.

Medical Director

Seth Parker, MD, graduated from Medical Cores Ireland Royal College of Surgeons and completed his internal medicine residency at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan.

Dr. Parker holds medical staff appointments at St. John Hospital and Medical Center, as well as Beaumont Hospital Grosse Pointe (formerly Bon Secours Hospital), Henry Ford Macomb, Mount Clemens Regional, and Select Specialty Hospital - Grosse Pointe, where he has served as medical director since 2011. Through his varied staff appointments, he has served on numerous hospital committees such as pain management, utilization review, medical executive, and quality assurance. Additionally, Dr. Parker served as urgent care director for St. John Adult Urgent Care in Saint Clair Shores, Michigan.
