Pulmonary/Vent: Specialized care for patients with acute or chronic respiratory disorders who may have tracheostomies, ventilators or require extensive respiratory treatments to maintain normal breathing without mechanical support. We can treat, but are not limited to, the following:

Wound Care: Designed for patients with impaired tissue integrity or who are at high risk for complications. We can treat, the following:

Dedicated Wound Care services we offer are: debridement, entersomal nursing services, prescribed dressing changes, photo documentation, wound vac, pulse lavage, specialty beds.

Select Specialty Hospital - Northeast Ohio (Canton Campus) measures success based upon the level of satisfaction expressed by our patients, their families and our referring customers.

Interdisciplinary team meetings are held regularly to review the patient’s progress and to set new goals. Discharge is arranged when the acute medical needs of the patient have been met and he or she is ready for the next level of care or return home.

Each patient is also assigned a case manager who will guide their case from admission through discharge. The case manager is available to answer questions, assist with insurance and to plan a safe, timely and appropriate discharge. Select Specialty Hospitals are Medicare certified and accredited by the Joint Commission. We participate with most major health insurers.
