Our Admissions Coordinator will process your referrals to Select Specialty Hospital - Ann Arbor quickly and efficiently. An on-site evaluation of the patient will be completed by a Clinical Liaison within hours of the referral. The Clinical Liaison is your personal contact to Select Specialty Hospital. They will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the services we provide. Once an admission decision has been determined, the patient can often transfer the same day.

Medical Director

Paul S. Harkaway, MD. is our Pulmonary Medical Director, who has consulted for Select Specialty Hospital - Ann Arbor since the opening of the facility in 1998. He has been chosen for the Ron J. Vandendbelt Education and Leadership Award from Saint Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ann Arbor Michigan in 2007.

Dr. Harkaway is a graduate of Wayne State School of Medicine and has an extensive background in Critical Care Medicine.
