Our Admissions Coordinator will process your referrals to Select Specialty Hospital - Ann Arbor quickly and efficiently. An on-site evaluation of the patient will be completed by a Clinical Liaison within hours of the referral. The Clinical Liaison is your personal contact to Select Specialty Hospital. They will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the services we provide. Once an admission decision has been determined, the patient can often transfer the same day.

Medical Director

Shyam Mahesh, M.D. is the Medical Director of Select Specialty Hospital - Ann Arbor. Dr. Mahesh became our Medical Director in June 2010. In 2008, he was named Teacher/Educator of the Year at Mt. Clemons Regional Medical Center. He is dedicated to creating high standards of care for our patient population in the LTACH industry.
