Select Specialty Hospitals were started in 1996 with the founding of Select Medical Corporation. We operate 89 hospitals in 25 states and are a leading provider of specialty health care.

Select Specialty Hospitals specialize in the treatment of the most critical and complex medical and surgical conditions. Our Select Specialty Hospitals offer a variety of programs and services to match the patient's acuity and individual needs. The physicians on our medical staff, along with our nurses and therapists, work closely together to improve the physical, emotional, and functional wellness of our patients. Our program is designed to move patients from the acute care setting toward achieving their highest level of wellness possible.
